RAC Traffic shows incidents, delays and roadworks for the whole of the UK, including Central London, England, Scotland, Wales & Northern Ireland.

RAC Traffic will allow you to check unplanned road incidents and delays at anytime, and view any problems textually, or displayed on a Bing map. Using the location service built in to your Windows Phone Device, RAC Traffic will show the nearest traffic problem to you, or by choosing a region you are interested in, the nearest traffic in that region.

RAC Traffic allows you to pin your routes to your Start Screen so that you can periodically be informed of any traffic incidents along your route.

Zoom in on the map and zoom out to see traffic on major and minor routes in the UK. This is the most comprehensive and up-to-date data available in the UK and shows current incidents and expected delays.

View by region or current location and zoom in to traffic problems using the text to read the actual problem and decide how you want to avoid the incident. Use the in-built Bing map to look at options to avoid any trouble and carry on with your journey, stress free. Scroll around the map and switch to map-mode for a full screen view of incidents around the UK.

    Works brilliantly. It is important to use the refresh button when looking for real time traffic news.

    Cannot get the app to retrieve and display a saved route. It will plan a route but won't allow me to zoom in to view it or see details. Pretty poor really.

    Does not give accurate report for m25 unless the motorway is closed. For a week now hasn't been updated nor shown any major traffic on m25. Best off using bbc travel web site and pinning to start screen. Have reported to Microsoft. Don't waste your memory on you phone.

    Ridiculous app. Of no use for my location. Although if you live in Cumbria, which I don't, then it might be ok - but I wouldn't count on it.

    Genius ... A route planner that tells you zero information about the route.

    Quite useless App really. The map does not show your location in relation to incidents. There is no information around how far /long the traffic lasts for. The incident list is just that...a long list which doesn't allow you to filter on roads or relevance. Even more pointless when you are sat in 30min tail backs &they don't appear on the map! This app really needs some work before it is useful.
