Makes a huge difference to my weight management efforts. Suddenly broke on Sunday. Quick response to Twitter query, telling me to email. Quick response to email acknowledging problem. Fix within 48 hours. That's pretty good for any platform, let alone one as "minority"as ours.

The app works again, for now (march 24 '15). I hope it doesn't break again, because its invaluable. Note: App overestimates calories spent by exercises a LOT!

This is the BEST calorie counting app you will ever find and when I experienced an operating issue it was sorted out quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend MyFitnessPal.

Excellent design, weak coding. When it works, it's a great motivational tool, and features like barcode scanning and website integration really help that. But frequent hangs, crashes and error messages are tiresome, and good luck trying to use it off wi-fi without a strong mobile signal. It's still an easy recommend as it's free, but needs to be much more stable before it can get anything over 3 stars. Edit: Recent upgrade has destroyed the app. After a day or two it gets stuck loading the food list and becomes impossible to log anything. Latest update in the last few days failed to fix it. Now 1 star as doesn't work as advertised. Use the website instead. Edit 2 Mar '15: "Could not connect to MyFitnessPal, please try later". 24 hours now. So if it can't connect, how come my food diary from the website is there? I really wish I could stop using this stupid, broken app. Edit 3 Mar '15: Looks like it was a server side issue that's now fixed. I forgive them.

Love this app! I've lost 1 stone using it already and that's over the course of a month and with no exercise, just eating well. I used to eat tons each day and just over eat all the time, but seeing how many calories is in everything you eat is eye opening! Seeing how many calories you have left after each meal keeps you on track and I love that im just able to scan the barcode of whatever I've eaten and you just add it. Easy to use and definitely works for me! Highly recommended! Update - I have a windows phone and the app for this phone has had a few problems. I emailed the app creator with detailed info and screenshots of the problem and they've applied a fix and now it works again. :D I still rate the app 5 though as it's just helped me so much and I guess no one is perfect, once informing them of problems they've fixed it so I'm happy. They have this app in web based form so if the app does have any problems, you can just use the web one in the mean time.

Good when it works, but never connects to the internet and have to reinstall is way too much. Gets very annoying. I end up just using the website at the end of the end to catch up on my intake. Which isn't what I wanted the app for! Please fix this glitch. Its so frustrating!
