Lode Runner Classic contains all of the block-blasting mayhem of the original 1983 smash hit, in which the untiring Runner faces off against relentlessly pursuing enemies in level after level of gold-grabbing gluttony. The game contains all 150 original levels and mimics the manipulable, original enemy AI. Build your high score as you play through levels sequentially in Expedition mode or whittle down your level completion times in Time Attack mode! Both modes support leaderboards. • 150 puzzling levels – all unlocked and accessible • Clever, non-disposable enemies • New magnification effect – zoom the action around the Runner • Multiple play speeds – super slow to superfast action • 2 control schemes – virtual D-pad and touch controls • Illustrated How to Play section • Xbox LIVE Achievements and Leaderboards

13/04/2013To small screen size to properly see whats going on and the controls are terrible

18/02/2013Ok, controls are poor and for the price you'd expect better, much better. So reduce the price to reflect this or improve the controls and size of play area!

19/10/2012Brings back old memories. A great game, but I miss the old 8bit sound effects. The D-Pad control is rather poor and sometimes annoying for someone used to the old QAOP, but you eventually finish the level.

26/07/2012Great pick up and play game. I don't find the price expensive at all. Looking forward to playing through the levels.

26/07/2012This was my favourite game on the palm and it's good to have it back. A bit pricey and would like to be able to disable sounds Sewell as music hence 4 stars only.

25/07/2012This is one of the better games on WP. Works perfectly on the phone and the touch controls are some of the best. This is exactly the sort of game you want to crack out for those brief moments of downtime that aren't long enough for you to get too involved (Great to pick up and put down and pick up again). I would argue that the price is quite reasonable as you will struggle to find a game as good for as little on the marketplace. I urge everyone to ignore NEXUS WARRI0R & his reviews as he is living in extreme poverty, hates everything (likes to go against the grain) & he isn't even a real gamer!

25/07/2012The cheap asses below may be right, you can play this free online. But however I don't think crying about a measly £2.29 constitutes as a review... So as far as an actual review goes, this game is great fun. If you didn't play Lode Runner the first time around you should really consider trying this. Its addictive, and quite challenging. The gameplay is solid and feels very rewarding. Have had a few issues with freezing, but nothing an update won't fix. Its well worth the price tag for the hours of enjoyable gameplay included. But if £2.29 is too expensive for you, then may I suggest selling your windows phone and buying a less expensive one. I hear Nokia 3310's are very cheap these days.

24/07/2012Fun and addictive game. Didn't played this game until now and impressed with the level design, definitely worth a look. And yes, this d-pad is responsive, probably best I've seen on a phone. And as for playing this for free on a pc? But I'm not sat at my pc (where I could play thousands of games for free), I'm on my phone! (Well presented and well worth £2.29)
