Easy to learn and difficult to master, KENKEN takes the typical number puzzle to the next level with a fun and challenging analytical element. The latest edition of the popular game features a streamlined interface, tons of new puzzles and a tutorial by puzzle master Will Shortz. In KENKEN players unravel the puzzle by entering the correct number within a 3 x 3 to 9 x 9 sized grid. Like Sudoku, each number can only be used once per row. However, KENKEN Pro ups-the-ante by incorporating basic math functions into the solution. So, while each number can only be used once per row, it must also equate to the numerical value of its respective cage. If it sounds difficult, it’s not. KENKEN is featured in the New York Times and published in more than 70 other periodicals around the world. The game is also a popular math teaching tool for educators worldwide. Features: • Packed with brain-straining KENKEN puzzles approved by game’s inventor, Tetsuya Miyamoto. • A vast array of difficulties and puzzle sizes ranging from 3x3 to 9x9. • Weekly challenge puzzles with online leaderboard. • Post achievements directly to Facebook. • Video tutorial by puzzle master Will Shortz. So… can you KenKen?
12/02/2013Love the trial. Won't pay the price its at now il buy when at least half price
20/01/2013Good but a couple of annoyances. Sometimes the sound effects come back on for no reason. In particular if you use the 'press and hold' history to reopen. Also i wish it would default to the first unsolved puzzle when you choose a section. It takes a while to scroll down to puzzle 40 or so.
09/01/2013The concept of the game itself is brilliant. However, this is a very poor representation of it. Poor interface and graphic design could be forgiven in a free game, at this price? No.
04/01/2013Very good, but too expensive. Lower the price and I'll buy it!
19/12/2012My brain hurts...
19/12/2012Nice stuff. A bit clunky but works well enough.
19/12/2012Pretty good Sudoku game but with a twist; the darker outlined boxes have a number in the corner which has to be added up to in addition to the normal Sudoku rules. Watch the video tutorial first, it explains everything. Also, first Capcom title, yay!
