Great news! As a BT Broadband customer you have free unlimited wi-fi minutes - get online at over 5 million hotspots across the UK and avoid congested mobile networks for free. Download it to get online, game, connect or work at the UK’s largest wi-fi network of 5 million hotspots.

When in range of a hotspot, choose ‘BT Wi-fi’ in your device settings, open the app and log-in with your BT Broadband email address and password. The BT Wi-fi app will connect to a hotspot whenever you’re in range.

- Fast log in process
- Quick mapping speeds

- Help

How to use for the first time:
1.	Download and open the app.
2.	Enter your BT Broadband email username and password into the "Enter Details" screen screen and press "activate". This will activate the app.
3.	In a BT Wi-fi hotspot for the first time? Click ‘Wi-fi Settings’ and select BT Wi-fi.
4.	Finally, open the BT Wi-fi app to be taken to the connect screen and logged in

How to connect to BT Wi-fi subsequently:
1.	Ensure your wi-fi is enabled and you are in range of a hotspot
2.	Open the app and you will be logged in to start using you free, unlimited wi-fi minutes

Does what it says on the tin. Wouldn't work on HTC 8x but does with Nokia 930 running newer windows phone 8 software (not yet 8.1). BT should auto connect instead of having to open this app though!

I don't understand why I need to keep running this app manually to connect - my phone knows there is a BT WiFi hotspot nearby, I'd prefer it to just run in the background and connect automatically whenever possible. This is how the Android and iPhone apps work. As it stands, this app is worse than useless. When I am in range, the phone selects WiFi over 3G, effectively cutting off my connection to the internet until I get my phone out and run the app. As the browser log in remembers my details anyway now, there is no reason at all to ever install this app. I just spent 40 minutes talking to three different tech support departments at BT before finally being referred to someone who understands BT Wifi, who told me in less that 5 minutes that the solution was to buy an iPhone. Well played BT:/
