Watch TV programmes live and on-demand with the BBC iPlayer app. Designed for the best viewing experience, the latest version lets you: - Watch live and on demand over Wi-Fi, 4G and 3G; - Enjoy smoother viewing with less buffering; - Browse new channel pages, themed programme collections and clearer categories; - Keep track of programmes you love by adding them to your favourites; - Access subtitles. 28/09/2014Updated just now, still no download ***
28/09/2014Ive downloaded the app but it doesn't show up on my phone? And it updated but still hasn't shown up on my phone. Would give 0 stars if I could!
28/09/2014Good better if it had download's
28/09/2014Sort it out ...
28/09/2014The latest version is noticeably faster but still lacks features like downloading or pinning channels/programmes. The programme quality is still terrible with pixilated playback on 4G and Wi-Fi which looks terrible on a 1080p screen!
28/09/2014Poor. Poor. Poor. The BBC are too busy gushing over the latest iDevice to properly support a platform that continues to gain market share in this country. BBC: I suggest you pull your collective fingers out and release a serious version of this app like you do for Apple and Android. This is just a wrapper for the iPlayer on the web. Your Xbox 360 version of iPlayer sucks too BTW!
27/09/2014Stuttering and useless half the time. With all the licence fees paid the BBC should do better. Netflix and other channels manage brilliant apps and watchability, why cant you?
27/09/2014Generally OK, BBC has listened and has made improvements to make a functional app that had decent/good playback and has addressed the radio issue (I think). But we are still getting treated like second class citizens, no proper UI (it's a web wrapper) and no option to download content in SD or HD To get 5 stars BBC need to address these issues, but at least there's improvement.
