16/10/2014Doesn't work with comics which is a problem cause that's mainly what I own on it and seeing as I don't have a kindle any more I cant read them again
16/10/2014Have to keep restarting the app because the words on the next page don't follow on from the previous page. It only start happening after latest update.
12/10/2014Very poor. Cant highlight or make notes 😒
11/10/2014The trouble is you cannot use it to read books that you have already bought on another device, or downloaded, so i'm afraid it doesn't do what i want
11/10/2014Ok - points to Amazon for not completely ignoring Windows Phone - but surely not doing it properly is not that much better? Unless the whole point is for people to try and then move to a different platform? This version seems crippled compared to a "real" Kindle or the PC or iPad versions. No search, no way to sort books by purchase date, doesn't seem to show "new" status. So unworkable with my 800 books and various non Amazon material. Maybe it is time to get Amazon to allow others to integrate their DRM into other readers? More and more the features on different readers supported by Amazon are diverging - which contradicts the way they suggested they were going to behave when they got into the e-book game And - this is the worst, half finished, incomplete version so far even ignoring that a phone with limited screen isn't the best way to read e-books. Come on Amazon - you only need to move the PC features across!
05/10/2014Can't use in UK! Won't work on amazon.co.uk. It requires an amazon.com login. If I registered with Amazon.com my UK ebooks would not be available!
03/10/2014Kindle UN-limited subscription? Not on windows phone. Also, there are still neither filters nor search.
03/10/2014Unbelievable. Last time I used this app for a windows phone was on a Lumia 800, that ran windows phone 7 and the only thing that changed is the icon! WAKE UP AMAZON! Update this app and bring it to feature parity with kindle app on android. Words fail me that amazon can neglect their paying customers.
29/09/2014Could forgive all the missing features that are present on other platforms if what this app does do actually worked. However, sync is always miles behind your actual furthest read location and when reading in portrait the last sentence or two is skipped on most pages. Brilliant.
