Twitter is a free app that lets you connect with people, express yourself, and discover more about all the things you love.

See what your favorite celebs and athletes are chatting about. Be the first to hear breaking news. Catch a glimpse behind the scenes at the Oscars, concerts, sporting events, and more.

Then join the conversation: Tweet your own text, photos, and video to your followers — and maybe make a few fans along the way.

Get inspired. Be social. Even send private messages to friends. All in real time, as big (and little) things happen, from anywhere you happen to be.

The new update that forces the app to integrate into the "Me" and "Post an Update" section via "People Hub" is both less convenient than Windows 8.x had originally had built in, and is also painfully broken from a U.I point of view. On the surface it does what it's suppose to do, check twitter and wrote a tweet. However it does it at the bare minimum with multiple weak links in the chain. Everything is just lacking in this app, from lack of GIF playback to lack of a landscape keyboard option cause problems in addition to the app now being monetary integrated into the OS without the option to revert back to the better built in option.

I know there are fancier Twitter apps available, but I like the simplicity of this one. I am also very happy to see that the latest version is once again integrated into the People Hub. Thank you!

Constant crashes, slower than a sloth. And just ruins the Twitter experience. You guys need to step your game up

Decent app. Used to get the notifications for replies and new followers, but I never get those now. Data hog with trying to preview each tweet in your feed. And while it may be convenient for some to have the like and retweet buttons on the feed, I have more than once accidentally liked or retweeted something I hadn't intended to.

Needs to be updated. If windows wants to keep its customers they need to at least update the popular apps. Photos are posted sideways and the UI needs an update. Missing options from other platforms.

More updates. Now people post multiple pics per tweet and I cant see cause it only shows one. Crashes a lot.
