Australian weather & (optional) surf forecasts and observations using data from BOM, Weatherzone & Swellnet. Multiple double-sided live tiles! BOM (Bureau of Meteorology) forecast data is value added to by Weatherzone with greater detail available. Surf forecasts and reports are available as an in-app purchase for the one-off price of $1.00 - once you have purchased the surf reports, you will not have to pay for them again.

This version is the full blown Windows Phone 8 version with lock screen support, wide live tiles, fast resume and much more.

Each location being monitored can have it's own live tile .. wide, standard or small.

Lock screen shows current observations and forecast.

Note: the live tiles are updated as frequently as the locations observations are. eg. Many locations have their observations updated every 10 minutes - your live tile will also update every 10 minutes. Most other weather programs update every 30 minutes.

Weather observations and forecasts cover over 2,000 locations throughout Australia.

Surf forecasts and reports cover all states and include Swellnet's 30 plus locations.

Marine forecasts cover all BOM forecast areas.

High resolution rain radar is zoomable and pannable. Backgrounds are stored on phone to save bandwidth and download time.

Its not bad, very detailed and accurate. It would be good though if it could give your current locations' weather via GPS automatically.

Trial version so far so good..

Good, some minor rough edges. Would really like to see sun/moon sets and rises. Apart from that missing feature, this is the best weather app out there.

It's ok. But the live tile doesn't really give enough detail.

An update came through this morning so there've been some improvements. It appears to be more stable when there's no data connection. This app looks so much better now rather than the original version from the old Windows Phone 7 days . Some display issues seemed to have been resolved with regards to rainfall, etc. There also seems to be more info in this new version as well such as wind gust details. Just watch out if buying this as the developer's store description says the surf reports by Swellnet are included but going into settings, out appears it's an add-on you need to purchase.

Better than free weather apps, but clicking on the live tile brings up an unresponsive screen. I thought the app had crashed, but it was only the live tile link. Live tile itself displays good info.

Not bad but disappointing that live tile doesn't work
