Vodafone customers, now you can keep track of your mobile usage on the go with the NEW My Vodafone app.
The app is loaded with features including:
• View your account usage
• View your recent bills & payments
• Find your nearest store
• View network updates in your area
• Contact Vodafone
• Join the conversation in the Vodafone Community
Vodafone post paid customers with a My Vodafone username and password can access the full suite of functionality in the app. (i.e. customers on 12, 24 or month to month plan only). Prepaid customers can download the app however, to access your account services on prepaid the app will link you directly to the mobile version of My Vodafone where you can log in. 

For Vodafone post paid customers to access the account services in the app you must have a My Vodafone username and password. You can obtain a username and password for My Vodafone easily at www.myvodafone.com.au
Purchase of the application is free however download charges do apply for downloading from the Marketplace.
The app is free to use for Vodafone customers excluding the following services where data charges apply based on your plan rates and your usage:
1. Store locator
2. Access to any external/ 3rd party links including Vodafone YouTube
Non Vodafone customers can download the application however data charges will apply as per your plan rate.
When using the service overseas, international roaming charges will apply.
The app will perform at its best when you’re in a 3G coverage area or on a Wifi connection.

    I have been on a post paid service with Vodafone for over a week now. The coverage and speeds are pretty good now Vodafone put some real dosh into its network. However, they should look at spending a few bucks on upgrading this app. First, there's no support for prepaid mobile accounts. This isn't so much of an issue now but the app should be able to cope with a prepaid account. Also, I reckon this app would be better if it notified you of your data usage. I have used 80% of my data and despite having alerts set up, Vodafone haven't alerted me to my usage at the required %50 use level. If this app could do that, it would serve as a backup notification method. Also, the app is a little bland. That's not a really big issue though. It's great to see Vodafone support Windows Phone. Just get the updates coming and make this app better!

    Why does this app say 'retrieving usage data' on my Lumia 930 and not do anything? Would love to actually be able to use it...
