21/03/2015It works, but lacks features which every other version of Amazon kindle have, such as highlighting, notes, or even the ability to search the text let alone look up a definition, all of which are essential for study. How hard is it to develop cross-platform parity?
24/02/2015Extremely bad at syncing even when done manually will still open at wrong page
22/02/2015Another example of the quickly dying windows phone platform.
2/02/2015Amazon giving stand app support and updates would be nice.
16/01/2015Crashes to app list when you try to open a book
8/01/2015Very basic reading capability right now. Archive needs a better UI for large libraries. Reading interface needs to allow highlights, notes and word lookup.
27/12/2014No highlight and no dictionary
26/11/2014Amazon really screwed the pooch with this app, in fact the pooch had to lock itself in the bathroom and rub soothing aloe vera gel all over it's backside, not happy, I would give less than 1 star but you can't.
25/11/2014The stick on loading bug has not been fixed. Lumia 1520 w8.1
29/10/2014Doesn't have inbuilt dictionary like the pc version. Sometimes you need to change the page orientation to read a whole passage as it cuts out text. Not great, but as long as you have a reasonable vocabulary and can tell when the passage doesn't make sense so you need to reorient your phone to read the missing bits, it does the job.
