OctroTalk now supports audio calls to your gtalk buddies. Octrotalk version 1.0.6 is a Google Talk client for Windows Phone 7, which allows you to stay logged in to the Google Talk service, and receive incoming messages via push (in case app is not running in the foreground). OctroTalk supports both tile and push notifications. Version 1.0.6 updates - 1) OctroTalk now supports custom status, and also invisible mode. 2) Lots of stability improvements. Version 1.0.5 updates - 1) Fix a lot of bugs 2) Preferences for sound/vibrate etc. 3) MAKE AUDIO CALLS !!!! 4) Upload vCard by tapping your image on the buddy list page. We also have a few known issues - 1) Audio Calls can only use the speaker phone and not the headset. The reason - lack of APIs. 2) Echo - again since we can't use the headset and there are no AEC APIs. 3) Delay - there is around a 1-2 second delay in playing the received sound. That is because if we reduce the delay, the API we were using caused "tuck tuck" sounds in the middle of the conversation. Version 1.0.4 updates - 1) Set vCard from directly inside the application 2) Jump lists for buddy lists (online and all) 3) Themes in chat window (choose how you want your chats to show) 4) Stability improvements

I like this app but right now having it in the background all day kills my battery. Works a million times better than the gchat app. Keep up the good work!

Prompt response to emails and or questions. You really dont find that much anymore. They stand behind their product. And they strive to keep making it even better. I have tried all other chat or im platforms for Mango phones and this is the one you need. You will never need another.

hi I tried to call another gmail (lumia800 to lumia 800) but I can't hear anything and receiver also can't hear anything. Plz solve it. chat option is.

A google talk app that actually works! It'd be nice to permanently change the status though!

If you're a gtalk user, this is definitely needed. Hopefully they add more services in the future. Right now I have to juggle between multiple messaging apps.
