Key features: • View shared meeting content during a conference, on your mobile device • Initiate a group conversation (IM or video) or invite additional participants • Join, rejoin, and initiate a Lync Meeting to communicate and collaborate amazing ideas • Control the meeting (mute or remove attendees) • Transfer your calls to another phone number or another contact • Pick up your conversations from the point where you ended them last • Join (and enjoy) a Lync Meeting even if you don’t have a Lync account • Enhanced security with Lync certificate and passive authentication Anyone can use the Lync Mobile app when invited to a Lync 2013 meeting. However, you must have a Lync account in order to use (and enjoy) the full capability of the Lync Mobile app. Also, some functionality might require an update to Lync Server or might not be available to all users. If you’re not sure about your account status, please contact your IT department. IMPORTANT: THIS SOFTWARE REQUIRES CONNECTIVITY TO VALIDLY LICENSED COPIES OF MICROSOFT LYNC SERVER OR OFFICE 365 / LYNC ONLINE AND WILL NOT WORK WITHOUT IT. UPDATES TO MICROSOFT LYNC SERVER MAY BE REQUIRED FOR PROPER PERFORMANCE. SOME FUNCTIONALITY MAY NOT BE AVAILABLE IN ALL COUNTRIES. IF YOU ARE UNSURE ABOUT YOUR COMPANY’S LICENSE TO AND/OR DEPLOYMENT OF LYNC, PLEASE CONTACT YOUR IT DEPARTMENT. What’s new in version 5.6: • Voice Settings – The new Cellular option for Lync calls lets you make and receive calls over your cellular network when you believe it’s a better choice than wireless or your data network.
10/12/2014Great product but very poor performance makes it almost unusable. You don't get this with the iOS version which is bit embarrassing for Microsoft
05/12/2014Instead of being a backup for my laptop, the phone app supercedes the laptop which is a total pain.
03/12/2014Much needed biz app
24/11/2014Doesn't handle messages as well as Lync 2010 app? Only using this version as has push notifications...
18/11/2014I would really like Bluetooth to be enabled by default if you have a great connected. It's slow to open and resume. Would be good if you could use the local phone as a breakout for calls
18/11/2014Missed call notification not shown anywhere and second text message doesn't get delivered when you don't immediately react on the first message you received. Still ****** experience on Microsoft's own platform 😒
05/11/2014Finally it is. I love to using Lync, video quality is perfect. Works smoothly. If you have Office 365 or have Lync server, than recommend you. I'm talking with my family and ofcorse with my lovelly wife. Update: Lync has issue with Lumia 930. My front, rear camera shows me B&W. Need to fix this.
06/10/2014Seems to load with some kind of touch accessibility feature enabled, regardless of the settings on my Lumia 930, resulting in pink highlight boxes all over the UI. Unusable.
30/09/2014Rubbish. Never works
